Founded by urbanists and researchers Rashid and Ahmed Bin Shabib, Brownbook has become the essential guide to the contemporary Middle East and North Africa, with a focus on the region’s people, architecture, and cities. Since its inception in 2006, Brownbook has explored the Middle East and North Africa through its people, buildings, and cities, challenging historical stigmas and showcasing a region united by its diversity.
